Peter Crump, DMD, MS

Orthodontics is a passion for me. I love helping people in our community, and getting to know them during their treatment. It is exciting to know that each day I am able to make a positive difference in someone's life and establish personal relationships with our patients and their families.

Every patient is unique and special in our office. Every smile we treat is important to me and and I am happy we can help give our patients a healthy, beautiful smile for the rest of their lives.

In the end, when they see their beautiful new smiles, I always feel a sense of fulfillment and happiness in my job. I enjoy what I do, and look forward to coming to work each day!

After graduating from Northwestern University, I received my training in dentistry at the University of Texas, where I completed my specialty training and received a Masters in Orthodontics.

I have a special interest in sharing my knowledge and clinical expertise with other orthodontists, dentists and orthodontic residents. For seven years, I served as Clinical Professor at St. Louis University Orthodontic Department. I was in charge of those patients requiring a combination of orthodontic treatment and jaw surgery to produce normal function with gratifying cosmetic results. I was honored to receive the "Outstanding Instructor of the Year" award, selected by the orthodontic residents.

I am proud to have been selected in 2009,10 and 11, by a vote of my fellow dentists, as one of St. Louis' top Dentists in the field of orthodontics.  A real honor bestowed upon me by my peers.

I remain current in all facets of the specialty of orthodontics by attending more than 75 hours of continuing education every year. I am an active member of the Seattle Study Club, which is a highly respected, national study club with members of different dental specialties committed to sharing the highest quality diagnostic and integrated treatment plans for their patients. I am the orthodontic representative for the St. Louis Gateway chapter of the Seattle Study Club.
